Following Livelihoods’ participation at the United Nations Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves national conference in Nairobi last week, the leading Kenyan daily newspaper Business Daily Africa ran an article on our initiative that will reach 60,000 households in Embu county.
“We are targeting more than 90 per cent of the population in Embu so as to achieve the intended impact,” said Mercy Keraro, Quality Control Manger for Climate Pal Limited, Livelihoods’ local project partner in Kenya.
