To reinforce its capacity to source and monitor excellent quality projects throughout the world, Livelihoods Venture creates a new position : Livelihoods Project Coordinator.
Based in Paris with extensive and frequent travels in Africa, Asia, Latin America
The Project Coordinator will report to the General Delegate of Livelihoods, in charge of operations.
In close cooperation with the Livelihoods team and the local project developers, the Project Coordinator will have the responsibility to identify, screen and design projects to be eligible to the fund. She/He will be responsible for structuring and coordinating the activities with the different stakeholders of the project under the guidance of the senior management of Livelihoods. The Project Coordinator will also have the responsibility to set up and coordinate with the project developers the measurement systems and monitoring processes.
The candidate will have around 10 years professional experience in project development and management preferably in rural areas and developing countries, with a strong field experience .The candidate having a field experience in an NGO will be a plus.
High potential in leadership, capacity to understand and manage complexity, ability to work with a variety of partners and cultural differences, excellent communicator and negotiator, autonomy and team spirit.
Ideally, the candidate will have a solid background (PhD or equivalent) by training or professional experience in either agriculture, forestry, rural development, business management and/or business management- finance.
The candidate is passionate about Livelihoods mission on economic/social/environmental value creation, Nature and social business.
She/ He is an excellent organizer and planner, very much result focused, with a high degree of attention to quality and excellence in execution,

In addition, the Project Coordinator will play and active role in helping and coaching the partner-organizations, to develop activities that will valorize and/or complement the ecosystems restoration projects

The annual salary range will depend on profile and experience.
